Langdon & SeahThe Genting Jurong Hotel’s "Hotel in the Garden" design theme is thoughtfully crafted to blend the lush tropical environment of the Jurong Lake district with a contemporary architectural approach. This concept goes beyond traditional landscaping by integrating greenery throughout the hotel’s structure, creating a seamless connection between nature and the built environment.
A defining feature of the hotel is the innovative design of interlacing tower blocks with sky gardens and terraces. These elevated green spaces are more than just aesthetic elements; they are designed as communal gathering spaces in the sky. Strategically positioned throughout the building, these sky gardens and terraces serve as vibrant hubs for social interaction, relaxation, and reflection, offering guests a unique experience of being surrounded by nature even at elevated heights.
The interlaced design of the tower blocks ensures that each sky garden is connected, creating a continuous flow of greenery that weaves through the hotel. This approach not only enhances the visual appeal but also encourages a sense of community among guests, with spaces designed for both private and shared experiences. Whether enjoying a morning coffee surrounded by lush foliage or taking in the panoramic views of the Jurong Lake district from a sky terrace, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature.
These communal spaces in the sky are complemented by spacious lawns and roof gardens, providing expansive areas for events, gatherings, or quiet moments of relaxation. The 1st and 2nd storeys, along with the middle and ends of the hotel building, are adorned with these green retreats, ensuring that every corner of the hotel reflects the surrounding tropical landscape.
Designed for both business and leisure visitors, the 550-room hotel boasts a contemporary aesthetic with creative furnishings that echo the natural beauty outside. The interlacing of tower blocks with sky gardens and terraces not only elevates the guest experience but also embodies a forward-thinking approach to urban hospitality, where nature and architecture coexist in perfect harmony.
